Manufactured in the UK, The BLU3 SERIESTM range of power distribution units have been designed for the security market. Slim line and stylish, available as 24Vac or 12VDC all models can be wall, desk or 19" rack mounted.
These power units enable installers to send SAFE low voltage power & video to cameras (*including speed domes) 200m away from control. Not only does this save the customer costly installation of fused spurs, but it also saves the installer valuable time because they negate the need to issue additional 'small work certificates' when undertaking site maintenance or upgrades to existing CCTV systems.
The onboard PCB allows the option of terminating both power and coax using terminal blocks, with BNC loop outs to the DVR or monitor. Don Weatherall, managing director of Mobile CCTV comments "I can rack mount multiple BLU3 PSUs and loop the video from the cable managed BNCs at the rear of each unit directly into the DVR - the LED live channel status lights are great too, because if a channel blows I know instantly - fuse change is quick and easy using the 'pop out' front load chambers - no messing around isolating power and opening the the power supply cover" Don Weatherall further adds that "engineer time is vastly reduced when maintaining these powering systems"
